MINSK, 6 August (BelTA) - Belarus’ beauty Veronika Chachina, from Gomel’s Belarusian State University of Transport, will represent Belarus at the international beauty contest Miss Supranational 2013, BelTA learnt from Yulia Dubovskaya, the Spokesperson for the ONT TV Channel, which is the event organizer.
Veronika Chachina, 17, is an art, architecture and photo enthusiast, and is also keen on reading fiction books. The girl has established herself as a promising and talented model. In 2012-2013 she enjoyed a number of achievements at various contests. She scooped the title Miss Beauty and Grace at the 2013 Miss Polesye contest in Gomel and reached the final of the FotoART 2013 project in the photo model nomination (Gomel). Veronika Chachina also won several nominations at the international beauty pageant Neva Banks (St. Petersburg) and featured in the Belarusian Fashion Week. The girl won the National Olympiads in the Belarusian language and history and partook in the international art competition My Native Land.
The organizers said that Veronika Chachina possesses the best qualities which any modern girl needs. Her life motto is “Do not stop until you are proud of yourself.” Her greatest wish is to have her parents be proud of her, too.
The final of the contest Miss Supranational 2013 will be held at the Palace of Sport in Minsk on 6 September. The guests of the show will be able to enjoy a spectacular gala. The organizers underlined that they are preparing a number of surprises for the public. The forthcoming event is going to become the most technologically advanced one compared to such shows held in Minsk in recent years.
The contest in the Belarusian capital will bring together beauties from five continents, about 90 countries to be in action. This means that partaking in the show will be a record high number of contestants in the history of this event.
